![]() It's not JUST about hardware, in order to make stuff like this a reality for video games it has to happen on the engine/software side as well, just look at Nanite with UE5 for example, it looks and runs incredible not because we have super advanced hardware but because the engine itself has a solution and does most of the work, so why can't Rockstar come up with a solution for this with their engine? (to all the haters in the comments I mean). ![]() I definitely believe the water physics will look like this, maybe not EXACTLY at this level for like PS5/XSX players, but as a base it will look amazing and with the PS6/Next Xbox and high-end PC's definitely. The reason being is of course we know Rockstar has the budget to do this and their engine has always been high-tech and impressive over the years compared to other AAA companies, however, GTA 6 we all know by now is taking place in a more modern Vice-City, which is a fictional version of Miami, and what is Miami surrounded by? WATER! If they plan to make this game innovative and "push industry benchmarks"(which is a direct quote from Rockstar btw regarding GTA 6), then they need to come up with SOME solution in water physics/graphics to meet the standards and expectations of the rest of the game's quality. The leak talks about how there's like 20-something programmers who were hired solely for the purpose of working on the water physics for the game, and honestly I believe it. ![]() The user claimed that the new map will be far larger than the one from Grand. GTA 6 was reported to feature a theme park called Fred’s Fun World, with. However, these rumors seem to be an elaborate scam by one man. We then got a first look at an in-game amusement park. I definitely believe with the increased hardware capacity/capabilities of the PS5/XSX in CPU technology and the massively fast SSD capabilities that Rockstar could make this happen. On March 16, 2023, a Redditor named u/tusstaster shared a new map of Vice City, claiming it was obtained through leaks. A Vice City map ‘leaked’ two months ago, with one notable leaker even drawing concept art that supports rumors of that being the game’s setting. No this is from a few years ago from Nvidia technology, I don't remember the specifics but it's definitely not leaked from Rockstar, HOWEVER! The person who leaked the info on Rockstar working on advanced water physics for GTA 6 used this as an example of what the water physics could look like in GTA 6, or rather, the closest example they could find to show off what they heard it will look like.
